What’s our current situation?

We are a small club team in Marburg, near Frankfurt, found in 2004. Both our Men’s and Women’s team compete in Division II of West Germany’s Lacrosse League. We managed to boost the club from 20 to 80 club members. Formerly composed of just a men’s team, we now also have a women’s team, girl’s U16 and a boy’s U14 and U19 team as well.

During the off-season you will find our players at several lacrosse tournaments in and around Germany.
Our players and club representatives absolutely identify with the Marburg Saints Lacrosse Club.

What we can provide:

  • A highly motivated and dedicated lacrosse program with currently 80 members, composing 3 teams (women, men, & male U16)
  • Great infrastructure (turf field with lacrosse line and surrounding nets; several practice goals, plus official game goals, speed ladder etc., weight room, field club house, all located within a sport park with 4 other fields, stadium with track)
  • Possibility to improve an entire lacrosse program
  • Wage of 450 € plus extra for driving
  • Help to find accomodation and language courses if needed

Goal:

  • We want our Men’s and Women’s teams to become Bundesliga West Division 1 contenders again!
  • Desire to improve and expand our Lacrosse program.
  • To bring our new players up to the same level as our experienced players, push experienced players even further.

What we expect:

  • Coaching Experience of several years
  • Preferably in Youth and Adult lacrosse
  • Knowledge of Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse
  • Willing to be an emotional leader for adult and youth teams
  • Willing to work together with the board as a team player
  • Official Coaching License (desired but not necessarily required)
  • Ability to speak German is a plus! (Concerning our U16 Boys team)
  • Demonstrate good inter-personal skills
